Credit Suisse Expands US Regional Presence

Credit Suisse is planning to open a private banking office in Philadelphia to provide wealth management services to the growing number of very wealthy individuals in that area. Richard Jaffe, newly hired as a managing director, will head the new office. He was previously an equity partner at Miller Investment Management. Credit Suisse said the office is part of a strategy to expand its presence in major American wealth markets. The Swiss bank’s Private Banking USA operation has 13 offices in the US.
